Or, did.

would I expect another Ibanez Prestige? No, but this will indeed be a prized guitar, it will get played and of course if I play Ash's old Hello Kitty Squier I'll be playing this. Think I'll tune it to

Looks nice! :tu: My first guitar purchase post 'no permanent address' was an Ibanez ST-50 in April 1981. Still have it.

naturally this might see a few changes, pups (though they are 4 conductor pups wired and split already), I might have a better set of machine heads kicking around, I could see myself building another stratoblaster clone or putting one of my extra EMG PA-2 pre-amps in it. I was going to put my duncan invader in that hello kitty for s&g but maybe I'll put it in this

I seriously considered a GIO. I have an affinity with small scale guitars. For me they are just too much fun. The long way around to my Charvel Pro Mod was... First I wanted an Ibby gio, then I wanted a Jackson JS1 (mini-dinky) then I wanted a real dinky because you can't stick a trem on a mini dinky and expect even a close approximation of intonation.

Now I'm just happy that my linnstrument is up and running again.

If you can get a Custom Artcore 2nd hand, that would be my recommendation. I have an AS103NT that I'm putting up for sale to help pay for my Gretsch 12er.

goes nicely with my ESP LTD

and of course her big sister, my prestige

and three Ibanez with my cheap bass (bought for Ash but he didn't take to it)

I think 10 or 11 guitars now, maybe two more I plan on putting back together. Squire Tele custom which the body was once the baritone (basically it was a bread board) and an ESP LTD that now has with it 2 duncans, (one JB from early 80s) an original (from the 80's) Floyd Rose and a megaswitch ... :)
