Guys, I like Ocenaudio as the developers are friendly and open minded.
But it doesn't fit my way to work, unfortunately.

Is there an free audio editor app outside, which is
- ultra fast loading up
- simple simple simple
- just cutting, record stuff from Safari (e.g. via soundflowers)
- has an INPUT monitor option, so I can hear Safari before recording stuff

Ideas?

How 'bout Wavosaur?

Even though i'm not sure it fits your simple and input monitor requirements. Worth a look anyway i guess?

It definitely has the better GUI (Ocen Audio).

Not free, but the combination of Audio Hijack and Fission, both from Rogue Amoeba software, is pretty ace in that regard.
