Anyone using their services?
I'll have to wait a while until I can order a test CD, so in the meantime I'm curious if anyone has had experience with them.

I would begin with a short run from a UK company and post them myself, but I can't afford the investment right now. So I'm just hoping that homemademusic.com is up to scratch.

homemademusic has great packaging. I wouldn't be waiting next to the mailbox holding your breath, though.
I've heard mixed reviews about the place. some people swear by them. I recommended the service to an associate a few years back. it took over 2 months to get a shipment of less than 50 cds. and they wouldn't return his emails. I eventually had to contact the owner of homemademusic through another message board and request that he look into it.
so, a fair review would be:
Product: A
Speed: F
Communication: F
Price: B+
if you're looking for other options, try http://www.diskfaktory.com/default.asp or http://www.dasmusik.com/

I highly recommend Diskfaktory. You can get 100 CD's with full color high-res art on the CD and inserts, shrinkwrapped for 2 bucks each. And the first shipment takes 2-3 weeks. After that, your re-orders are at your door in 10 days or so. Awesome short-run dupes. Very professional service, too.

I've chosen Homemademusic for the on demand/online shop option, not for a short run. I assume the packaging quality is the same for both.

swiftCD is where Ampcast gets their cds replicated, so if you didn't like the Ampcast packaging, then you won't like swiftCD.

SwiftCD are now doing an on demand service it seems, but it's a fair bit more expensive than Homemademusic.com
