Konfused - vst needs full Kontakt not player.

I was looking to get the Django gypsy jazz guitar and it says:
REQUIREMENTS: FULL VERSION (not player) of Kontakt version 5.5.1 or higher": Does "not player" mean not the free Kontakt player 6 or free Komplete players? Does "full version of Kontakt" mean you have to buy one of the Komplete products? I'm Konfused.
Or does it mean the free Kontakt 6 player is okay - the free Kontakt 6 player download does say at the end "full version" but it also says "player" and the Django says "not player".
It looks to me like the full version of Kontakt 6 is over £300 and over 40GB of sounds that I have no need for. Surely this can't be right as the only way to run this Django vst?
What else would I need in the version costing 100's other than the kontakt 6 player in order to run the Django vst?
Hoping someone can explain it to me - what's the cheapest form of Kontakt I can use to run the Django gypsy jazz guitar vst? Thanks.

If it says «not player», you need the full version of Kontakt. Sorry. Sometimes people sell Kontakt cheaper here @ KVR.

Many thanks kovac, but I'm confused what we mean by full version - is it the version that costs 100's and comes with many GB's of samples. The free version of Kontakt 6 player on the NI website says "full version" at the end.

The full version is the one you pay for.

This is not difficult. When it says «not player» it means you can’t use the player.
There is only one other edition of Kontakt, which is the full version (which comes with quite a bit of content as you have discovered). The current version is 6, but 5 is still widely used.
There are tons of libraries which can be used with the player, but if a library supports advanced tweaking, then the full version is required.

The free Kontakt Player is for NI licensed and copy protected (=expensive) libraries, mainly. You can use it for any indigenous library, but it will only work for 15 minutes.
NI wants its pound of flesh, either through charging devs for licensing fees (transferred to customers, of course) or by forcing the customers of skimpers to pay for the full version of Kontakt. It's a business and not unreasonable, IMHO.

If it were easy, anybody could do it!

Update - happy ending. I have Komplete8 on my Receptor VIP (vst player) since about 6 years ago and haven't used it for a long time but always take the VIP to gigs as emergency backup in case the main computer lets me down. I didn't think I would be able to get the Komplete8 onto my main computer; I had the discs and serial number but couldn't find the account. Native Instruments were most helpful; now I have Komplete8 on my main computer. I thought at very least I'd have to upgrade but seems this should be ok. Although once I've had time to have a closer look at Komplete 8 I may still upgrade and I'm thinking of getting the Gentleman or the Giant upright. Thanks everyone and NI.
