Er, roughly... I figured out your fingerings for the verse.. that's just my kind of broken chord stuff, so once I split apart your double-tracked guitar and listened to one of 'em alone it didn't take long to figure out what you're playing.

If anyone's curious, the chord shapes I got are:

Esus4maj7: 0-7-7-8-0-0
E: 0-7-6-9-0-0
A: 5-7-7-6-0-0
Am: x-0-7-5-0-0
B: 7-9-9-8-0-0
C#m: 0-11-11-9-0-0
F#: 2-4-4-3-0-0
F#m: 2-4-4-2-0-0

The names I'm giving ignore the high drone notes B and E... on some chords those probably should affect the name, but I'm just going to ignore that for simplicity and call the chords as I hear them.

And I think the chords progressions are:

Stuck inside your head (Esus4maj7 E) x2
Feel a little unsafe (Esus4maj7 E)x2
Smash of glass (A Am)
on the floor (B)
feel a little better goes a long way (C#m B C#m B)
feeling, unsafe (F# A B)

Stuck inside your mind (Esus4maj7 E) x2
too late (Esus4maj7 E)
too late (Esus4maj7 E)
Feel a little better (A Am)
goes a long way (B)

feeling, unsafe (F# A)
feeling, unsafe (F# A)

bridge
the words are coming out wrong (Am E)
I didn't mean to say (Am E)
consequences still outstanding (Am E)
you hope I pray (F#m B)
words are flying fast (Am E)
the knives are sticking out (Am E)
circumstances how they change (Am E)
feeling it still (F#m)
unsafe (F#m)
unsafe (B)
unsafe (F#m A)
(F#m A)
(F#m A )
too late (F#m A B)

I'll let donkey t correct my mistakes... Nifty stuff, though... I love tunes where you pull off major to minor movements like this, and do it so effortlessly.

A change from major - to minor -eeh, I should be writing them there musicals.

Hehe, a valiant effort, but you can tell you didn't learn to play on an electric! :D

Esus4maj7: 0-7-7-8-0-0 is 0-12-13-13-0-0
E: 0-7-6-9-0-0 is 0-11-13-13-0-0
A: 5-7-7-6-0-0 is x-0-11-13-0-0 (in the verses)
Am: x-0-7-5-0-0 is x-0-10-11-0-0 (again, in the verse)
B: 7-9-9-8-0-0
C#m: 0-11-11-9-0-0 is 7-x-7-6-0-0
F#: 2-4-4-3-0-0
F#m: 2-4-4-2-0-0[/b]

Then in the middle 8 the chords are;

Am - 0-7-7-5-0-0, E - 0-7-6-4-0-0, F#m - 0-4-4-2-0-0 (nice football chord that!), and the B is the one you got already.

Hmm, clear as mud!

That's it, I'm calling you Sir Elton Tugger from now on. :P

Nope, nope.. you caught me... heck, I can barely reach the 13th fret on my acoustic (no cutout)... I think I venture "up there" about once a year, usually when I'm back in a Sea and Cake strummy phase.

Right! Well, I got close... picking up transcriptions by ear never was a strong suit of mine.

As for the tune, I'm still running around some ideas in my head for what I'd like to add... I love the verse progression and melodies, but to be honest I'm not thrilled with the middle-8/bridge.. seems a tad predictible and slow to develop to my ears. But after playing around for an hour or two I don't have anything to replace it with... hmm...
