Well, I'm ready to pull the trigger on this.
Questions:
1. Is there a manual that explains each module? Most are self explanatory and/or have Softube counterparts. But some I have no idea what they do.
2. Does anybody know the actual date and time that the intro offer ends? Right here it's about 4.5 hours to midnight but in other parts of the world it may already be the January 1. Can an official rep pop in and give me a cutoff point? I'm going to try to get this done before midnight here.

You can right-click on the face of each module and select 'Module Help', or 'About' at the bottom of the drop-down menu, which give a very rudimentary description of it. The 'Module Help' choice goes online, and says exactly the same thing as the 'About'.wagtunes wrote: Tue Jan 01, 2019 12:24 am Well, I'm ready to pull the trigger on this.

Sequences > Rainy Afternoon is too much for my 12-core 3GHz mac pro - it crackles and ultimately doesn't play properly. Perhaps use this patch as your CPU benchmark.Shabdahbriah wrote: Tue Jan 01, 2019 12:21 am That being said, I totally love the sound, and over-all ease of use. And the cpu hit on my 7-yr-old [Athlon Phenom II black-edition x6, 32Gb ram] Windows-7 machine, is minimal no matter what I have loaded/configured/tested. So we will be getting this.![]()

'Not sure. But since you can't see it in the demo, seems like it might be a paid version only presetstarflakeprj wrote: Tue Jan 01, 2019 1:19 amCan't see this preset in the demo version, is it full version only?plexuss wrote: Tue Jan 01, 2019 1:15 amSequences > Rainy Afternoon is too much for my 12-core 3GHz mac pro - it crackles and ultimately doesn't play properly. None of the existing sequences presets in the demoversion exceeds 37% in Studio One v4 (6 core i7-4930k @ 3,4 GHz), so it's at least more promising than the Softube Modular.plexuss wrote: Tue Jan 01, 2019 1:21 am'Not sure. The "crackling" is by design on that patch/presetplexuss wrote: Tue Jan 01, 2019 1:15 amSequences > Rainy Afternoon is too much for my 12-core 3GHz mac pro - it crackles and ultimately doesn't play properly. Just turn down channel 3's volume to mute it, on the Stereo Mixer module.
That preset is part of the Ampere Sonic Vol 2 preset pack which has a smaller demo free version, if I'm not mistaken.

Nope, maybe after January, when they switch to another payment service.

Purchased. Do I have to redownload or is there a way to turn the demo download into the full version?

Make sure you have the correct info on the Settings/Account tab of VM, then it should self-populate with all the entitled modules as it auto-downloads them.wagtunes wrote: Tue Jan 01, 2019 2:02 am Purchased. Do I have to redownload or is there a way to turn the demo download into the full version?

Interesting. I just purchased and the demo mode is gone but I don't see any sequence named Rainy Afternoon.plexuss wrote: Tue Jan 01, 2019 1:15 amSequences > Rainy Afternoon is too much for my 12-core 3GHz mac pro - it crackles and ultimately doesn't play properly.
