This is a strange, powerful, and majestic beast. At first it looks quite basic, but just click this icon just right of the disk icon (and above where it says "Demo Mode") for the main editor, where most of the action happens. Hope you have fun!

Holy wavemangling, batman!
I've actually thought about getting me a toy for christmas ... Waverazor... but hesitated and now it's the featured synth for OSC #119!

Post

Oh my! Amazing synth!

Post

Very nice, I actually got this one during the Halloween sale, will be a good opportunity to learn it!

For users that have already used the trial, would it be possible for Mok/Traction to make a special case for OSC reset it? Could be an issue for someone.

Would be nice if there was a full licence for the winning entry! Not sure if that is generally the case for commercial synths? I know u-he has in the past.

I wonder how tricky percussion sounds with Waverazor will be, seems well suited for bass and lead sounds. Nice challenge for the start of 2019!

Post

wow. that's a complex synth. Going to be interesting.

Guess I'll just use the LE. Version, although FAFF getting offline register :(
Man is least himself when he talks in the first person. Give him a mask, and he'll show you his true face

Can't use the trial? 30 days is enough to cover the OSC. Registering wasn't any more difficult than most - unless you use your music workstation is Offline?

The LE version should be enough to make a track, but would be limited to adjusting the Macro knobs of the Factory presets.

I guess that's me out then, can't be arsed installing something which lasts 30 days, cos I'm not gonna buy it and I'm surely not gonna win it :D
Good luck to all :tu:

Kudos to Tracktion / MOK, nice and simple Debian package for install, manuals included, scalable UI

At first I good no sound but I hadn't registered it :-)

Post

Since MOK Waverazor it's not real free synth ,I just skip these one,see you next, and good luck to all partecipants.
12 years old PC running :Reaper;Reason;Dune;Zampler;Kontakr;Reaktor;and many others countless vst :D

Post

Really impressed by the filters on this bad boy.

Post

It would be nice if they could offer a discount on purchase at the end of OSC (in case anyone likes it) or trade for using OSC song as demo songs on their website -- good marketing value.

Post

The UI on this thing looks...uhhh...I mean it's visually kinda cool but they actually expect people to use this thing right?
Disco flangus shenanigans

Post

Yes, eyesore. I'm reminded of that osc synth that was all green based on saw waves. Unreadable font, non-obvious clickable areas. Kind of a step back ux wise.

Post

Looks like an interesting synth. I just took the first step and downloaded it. We'll see if I make it all the way to completed track before the end of the month.
