BTW: Serum files should already load as Wavetable (when they are a wavetable file) and import all settings.

New file: WIN Wusik Station V9 BETA Engine.zip
updated FX and multi-out, added the -WT999 option.

Post

Ok, updated the Windows version BETA for ALL products. Also updated the MAC Full SoundSets installer.

Post

Ok, I need to start closing all this beta tests and release the new updates and also Wusik EVE V5 soon. Please, let me know if I missed anything? I had some problems with my MAC machine, so I will only be able to compile everything on MAC around Friday. Not a big delay...

I will start making a list of all that changed on the latest wusik engine code for all products, and will post here, so you guys can help me track everything that has changed. I will release the updates and a day after Wusik EVE V5. :hyper:

Post

So far I remember this:

- ! IMPORTANT ! New Data Folder Structure. Now we have a single Wusik Engine Data that is used by ALL Wusik Products. Inside you have a Shared folder and for each product an extra folder like "Wusik Station V9", "Wusik 8008" and so on.
- Improved the engine installer to allow separated VST2 and VST3 folders (on Windows), plus the option to select which to install: 32bits and/or 64 bits versions of the plugins.
- Better Multi-Preset code.
- Several code optimizations, specially in the 64 bits version.
- New Plugins Manager. Now you can scan multiple plugins folder and manage effects and instruments to be used with the VST Effects slot.
- You can find the Plugins Manager link in the global menu (click the wusik logo) or in the effects->VST menu. You can click on a plugin
- Fixed some sounds and included those changes into the new 16 Gig installer.
- New Extra Folders Manager, now you can add as many folders as you want. The tree-view will show "/ Foldername" at the bottom of the list.
- New Anti-Click code when switching presets (also works on sections where the audio-engine need to stop in order to perform something). The volume will fade out and in with the new loaded preset.
- Added auto search code for missing sound files. If more than one file is found it will display a dialog window asking which file should be used.
- Fixed a volume problem with legacy presets that uses the MDA Talkbox effect. EG: the Hyper Collection / Vocoder presets.
- Added a new option to FX1: Output Dry Signal, by default is ON, so you hear the non-fx (dry) signal. This is handy when using the MDA Vocoder (or any other vocoder) as a SEND instead of an INSERT.
- Added a new option to the Global Options Menu (click the Wusik logo). Volume Output Gain.
to open the option's list: rename, activate, show first on the TOP of the list (it always shows effects and after instruments, but you can set plugins to show on the top of each list).
- Fixed problems with SF2 files related to out of tune and slow loading.
- Added release sample support to SFZ files.
- Added lorand and hirand support to SFZ files.
- Corrected the sfz volume opcode to use decibels values instead of gain values.
- Added in the tree-view filebrowser under Options (right click anywhere or click the first item on the top) a new option: Filter Non SFZ Files - when selected it will filter wav, flac, mp3, ogg and aiff files.
- Added WusikSound to the SoundSets Search.
- Added an anti-click code for sounds/waveforms that does not start at Zero (0.0).

If you don't want to download again the 16 Gig installer, you can do this: download the **__NoSounds installer as it will install the basic Wusik Engine stuff and also presets for all products. Move all your sounds into the Wusik Engine Data/Shared/SoundSets folder.

And yes, I should have wrote all the changes as I did them, but I forgot... :dog:

Didn't check the latest release yet, but last time Wusik 8008 still didn't have the auto-search function

Ok, I will check why, txs.

I just double checked, it should work now. Maybe you were using the multi-out version that I didn't update until today. ;-)

updated FX and multi-out, added the -WT999 option.
Can you post an example of how wavetables should be named? Let's say I have a file called "Wavetable 1.wav" in Serum format. Shall I call it "Wavetable 1-WT2048.wav" or "Wavetable 1 -WT2048.wav" (with a space before the hifen)?

If you are saving in Serum format, you don't need any extra naming, as it adds some stuff to the .wav file. Otherwise you need ot use the -WT9999 option. And yes, a space before the hifen, but it should work without.

Latest Wusik One 2-1-19
Windows 10 tells me contains Trojan: Win32/Cloxer.D!cl

I'm pretty sure it's a false positive. What anti-virus you are using? I will scan here just to be sure.

Yes, Serum adds a chunk. So, WusikStation is able to read that chunk? Good :tu:

Just the factory Windows Defender.

Post

Yeah, it reads that chunk.

I just downloaded the Wusik One file and got no warning messages from Windows Defender (Win 10 latest 64 bits build).
