FREE DEMO PRESETS - https://newloops.com/products/universal-dune-3-presets

https://soundcloud.com/newloops/universal-dune-3
Seriously? The instrument has been out for a couple of weeks, how good are any presets you've made in that time going to be? If I was going to pay actual money for presets, I'd want them from someone who has spent months, maybe years, getting the best out of an instrument, not days.
They are usually beta testers also, you ignorant imbecile.
And if that's a very difficult concept for you to grasp, how about listening to the audio demo he provided, or download the free demo patches?
Ffs.
Bones was one of the Beta testers FYI!!!

But I like the demo and Newloop presets are always good!! Dune3 is an awesome powerhouse!!

A little bit more than "days" was spent on this. You have NO idea what my methods are or how I create my presets. All I can say is the amount of hours and work I put into my sounds is probably bad for my family life. Talking about years, I have been designing sounds for over 20 years, I work full time on sounds. You could call me a "professional". :o :o

Also, Dune 2 has been around for ages. I haven't just picked this up and "banged out" a load of presets.

For a start, the audio demo is 100% from these presets. You can hear how they sound. There is also a free demo pack to download and try some patches.

You do understand that I am a DUNE beta-tester, right? Or could be you who is ignorant of the facts on this occasion? I didn't notice this guy's Synapse user name on the beta team, hence my comment.

Really? Loads of custom wavetables and all that kind of thing? I've been beta-testing the damned thing since around August and I'm nowhere near mastering that stuff. So what you'll likely have here are a bunch of presets that could be just as easily done in DUNE 2, nothing special or worth paying for, I'd suggest. At this stage I'd say Rich, Marcin and Mark are probably miles ahead of anyone else when it comes to fully exploiting everything DUNE 3 has to offer so you'll probably get your best presets in the factory bank for a while yet.

Yorrrrrr wrote: Mon Dec 31, 2018 10:07 pm It seems neither DUNE 3 nor The Legend are fully optimized for Retina screens? GUI performs slow in my new MacBook Pro 13" (2018) and doesn't look as crisp as in Windows in a HiDPI screen (platform that I used to beta test DUNE 3 since the beginning). I hope Richard finds the time and space to optimize them.
So what you are saying is that Windows scales better than macOS. How is that Rich's problem?
Yes, it does. It doesn't matter if it's Richard's problem or not. Maybe it's just mine. Or Apple's. Just saying that it would be nice if both DUNE 3 and The Legend looked and performed as good as it does on Windows, and if Richard can do anything about it, then great!

You as a beta tester is quite sad in the first place, and ever worse, is that you still doesn't understand.

not really, a lot of the new factory sounds are edm crap, pretty much the same as D2. i havent heard any of the new stuff that exploits the excellent new filters. its mostly the same crap by the same person drenched in fx
