Hope this isn't old news! I remember this was mentioned a while ago...but I guess this is a little more info.

Rob Papen is at this moment working on "Static Park" for Native Instruments "Kontakt".

This new CD-ROM is especially programmed for "Kontakt".
Extensive use of "Kontakt's" built in features and 5.1 surround optimised presets makes this a very special product.

Rob Papen's approach towards sampling is always a creative one.
For him samplers are not only for reproducing samples or plain acoustic instrument simulation, they are a creative synthesizer tool for making new edge sounds.
Also included are drums, percussion and grooves (midi file based).
Rob Papen has really going to push "Kontakt" to the limit to bring you a Sound set that is truly inspirational and Unique... "This product will change the way you look at your Kontakt Sampler..."

I know Motu's MachFive is surround capable,but I didn't think kontakt was.Was there a recent update that I missed?

You didn't miss anything. I took that to read that the presets will sound good in a 5.1 audio system.
