Hi Everyone,
Can you Guys and Girls suggest any Vst equivalents to the above mentioned Synths please, it does not have to be direct Emulations but any Vst that can approximate the sounds of these Synths would be Cool!! The Vst can be both freeware or commercial!
Thank you very much in advance

I'd recommend Phantom regarding the TX81Z https://www.discodsp.com/phantom/

The DX7 V would be a great choice, especially since it also includes additional waveforms from the TX81Z and OPL 2/3 chipsets. Dexed would be the best freebie alternatives. Nothing can replace my AN1x, but I like to think Retrologue 2 has a bit similar vibe. Love using Falcon for modern FM, it's truly one of the best that I didn't miss things like the FS1R or even Montage. Take a listen here.

FS1R has no replacement or equivalent in software world, neither does AN1x.

I can recommend UVI Synth Anthology 2 which contains over 250 patches based on FSR1 as well as AN1X samples.

Bumping this since i just discovered a great Tx81z emulation for supercollider released just over a month ago. It is not a VST, and require a tiny bit of learning to set up, but it is great.
https://github.com/gesellkammer/sc-tx81z
Since it's in supercollider, it supports microtuning (which, afaik, none of the other Yamaha FM emulators like Dexed and VOPM does, with the exception of "chipsynth MD"). And it also let you modulate any parameter of the tx81z in very flexible ways, so you have the equivalent of a great mod matrix to adjust waves, operator gain, ratio, envelopes, feedback. Haven't done any direct comparison with hardware yet, but it sounds beautiful, and i'm someone who is fairly familiar with the Yamaha sound.
Someone also released a latency-free audio routing software for macOS recently called BlackHole, so it is easy to send audio from the TX81z emulation into your DAW if you own a mac at least.
Have a look!

OP asked for VSTi, how are you supposed to use supercollider in your DAW? You might as well just use https://soul.dev/lab/?id=LatelyBass in your browser and fiddle with the virtual keyboard.
Something like Cabbage can allow for VSTi creation (similar to SynthEdit) from Csound code (which exists TX81z code), but it is beyond my ability.

Since someone already bumped this old topic… I think Skippy made presets for Unify that will imitate the TX81Z.

Necro thread input:
Steinberg FM Lab: https://www.steinberg.net/vst-instruments/fm-lab/
and the FM section of Halion: https://www.steinberg.help/r/halion/7.1 ... ion_r.html
I've gotten quite close to AN stuff with Steinberg's Trip: https://archive.steinberg.help/halion_s ... age_c.html
and
Trium: https://www.steinberg.help/r/halion/7.1 ... ium_c.html
You can also roll your own AN stuff with the analog section of Halion:

Hi Everyone, i see my old thread was bumped up let me add what i eventually end up getting.
I got Zebra legacy and many of those sounds are coverd in Zebra 2
Then i got Dx7 v for the Tx sounds
Subsequently i managed to get the the sysex files of the yamaha 81z to load into Fm8 so that was sorted
For the Yamaha anx replacement i found Dune3 to be the closest match as well as Hive2.
ANOTHER honorable mention For the f1sr was Rob papen blue 3, Quad, and Vecto
Finally a few more synths that rounded everything out was Uhe Ace, Bazille, Diva, Big Tick Rhino and Cakewalk Z3TA 2+..
I do hope that my answer helps Future Seekers!!
