PSound accordions (on sale now) use UVI Workstation but are Falcon compatible---does that mean they can be played with an MPE controller in Falcon? (The two accordions in Infinity sound more like synths....)

worth it - initially I was not sure but the more I explore the capabilities the better it gets - the multiband approach is very powerful and incredibly simple to use

Just a heads up for folks - I bought an Arturia synth from MotivSound and the transaction went as smooth as possible.

Cheers!

EastWest is channelling The Who when they ask you to meet their new sale: it's the same as the old sale - http://www.soundsonline.com/2019

I couldn't decide but I went with this thread as I assumed that the feedback thread was more for KVR private transactions.

I sent then an email over the holiday for a quote on selling a few things to them. No response quite yet, I’ll try them again to see if I got lost in the shuffle.

What articulations are you expecting on an accordion that would need MPE? I can see the need for a two-channel multi (melody + chord buttons) but can't think of many situations where MPE is going to make a major difference to realism.

I'm sure many like me, typically only "foe" people who are spamming the Deals forum (or use excessive colors) so we don't have to see those ads. They should really have an "ignore posts" rather than a "foe", but that's the system's setting.

I'm a little disappointed that Cableguys doesn't have a nicer crossgrade/upgrade offer for the other 2 effects in the lineup. The price difference for MidiShaper & FilterShaper is pretty close to the price of the whole bundle including the Curve 2 synth.

I have too many synths and I'm actually trying to offload them right now, not gain any more new ones.

I want to put it through Byome to create a chaotic "quantum accordion" effect (also using the non-pitched sounds of an accordion) and then play it on the Seaboard with odd, impossible polyphonic pitch bends thrown in. (The inspiration comes from this article about a physicist: "she told a colleague that if she didn’t find work in academia she planned to take her accordion to New Orleans and busk on the streets to support her physics habit [...] 'Accordions are the octonions of the music world,' she said". https://www.quantamagazine.org/the-octo ... -20180720/ )

Alternatively, since I've never really learned to play the accordion properly, I was thinking I should use the pattern sequencer that comes with the Sonokinetic accordion which is only 50 euros not on sale... the non-musical sounds seem more audible in the Sonokinetic recording but I think I like the sound of the PSound Bandoneon more. And I should be able to find midi for Synfire to play....
