Adele's Pity Party

I'm amazed that nobody has ever thought of photoshopping her face onto that of Puddles the Clown. I would but I would probably suck at photoshop even if I had a copy of it.
Even if the piano player can't play, keep the party going.

That's actually awesome. He's probably actually as good as Adele... if not better!

Yes, he's a brilliant singer. My first exposure to him was that show with Simon Cowell (I don't pay enough attention to these things to remember the name) on Youtube. The judges looked pretty sceptical while he was dragging his props on stage, but the looks on their faces when he began to sing was priceless. Some of his covers have impressed me, some haven't, but he's got the pipes, that's for sure.

I don't watch America's Got Talent, so I hadn't heard of him. I watched the above video last night, and all I can say is that I was devastated that he finished with Royals, for a couple reasons. Firstly, he could have just chosen a song that's technically more impressive to sing. And secondly; I'm from New Zealand, and Lorde (the girl that wrote that song) is from New Zealand. It's not often someone from New Zealand makes in big on the world stage, so when she did, in NZ you couldn't do anything or go anywhere without her face and music shoved down our throats by the local press. Everyone here's just f**kin' sick of her.

I'm not going to love very many of these songs singers cover for this kind of career.
I literally have never watched anything close to an entire episode (if even an entire number in one) of this kind of show. I happened to find this very easily using google. But he is an exceptional singer, clearly a trained singer.

I never heard him sing before I found the Adele thing, which as a concept tickled me.
But I have learned of a couple of singers via 'Postmodern Jukebox', Haley Reinhart and Morgan James, who are fantastic. Morgan is classically trained but a blues kind of a singer. Haley was taught by her mother.
Adele can take a hike.
