please answer
lots of things, for example you set up a beat to loop and then you play the synth bass over it and record it, listen to it as the two bar beat loops, and then re-record on the fly over it to fix some parts, and then move over to the lead synth and record that and then go on to the pads and whatever and you have your finished song.

It would be really cool, but it's really all a 'workflow' improvement, so nothing fancy to show to the press i guess. To me it sounds strange that fl can do everything but not that, mmm, they say that it wasn't meant to work like that so it's difficult to implement now, but what about the loop function in the playlist, you know, the loopback point? Couldn't somebody just improve a little on that and wham, looprecording : ) At least let's start with markers and transport control in the playlist, they're sorely missed too!
ahh i used to do this with my dr. groove :)

not essential, but would be cool.

hi guys please for god sake forget about all the videos stuffs , please
what we really need pitch shifter & timestretcher
a playlist wich could allow fading in /out without making automation .
the play button in blue is that a joke or what lol
for the loop recording i don't know , what do you do with that give me exemples please
I would agree that the playlist fader feature would be a great idea. Still don't see the need for loop recording feature, though. Perhaps I don't understand what it is.

Just imagine if the next FL had half the new features that have been requested here....

The VideoPlayer was developed externally and will be an optional plugin so it hardly affects the overall FL development.

FL 5 has (well it will once we release it) the best pitchshifter & timestretcher currently on the market.

FL 5 has automationclips that allow you to automate any parameter straight from the playlist.

See ya,

Care to elaborate? there's some pretty good stuff in some pretty good hosts. I think there was a couple of NZ developers that had a "new" approach... is this where it went?

Here we go again ... :help:

We changed the name because :

1. Kelloggs is after us because of their Froot Loops brand name
2. To most Americans 'Fruity' means gay (we didn't have a clue about this 6 years ago).
3. No (real) musician wants to be associated with 'loops' (implying he didn't write the music himself)

About the lifetime free updates :

ALL of our 30.000 (paying) users have always received the free updates we promised them :

The app/edition you bought will be updated, bugfixed and get 100s of new features as long as we develop it. Just check out the whatsnew doc to find out what has been added for free in the last 5 years :

http://www.flstudio.com/misc/whatsnew.doc (50kb)

Does this mean everything we develop from now on (Sytrus, ...) will be free and included in FL Studio ? Of course not : We need to make a living as well AND guarantee the further existence of FL.

We are going to box/sell FL Studio XXL (FL Producer Edition + Sytrus + SimSynth + VideoPlayer + ...) as well and NO, it won't be free to everyone that ever bought FL Studio or Fruityloops.

See ya,

jmc (FL Studio)

One of the stretching modes is the ZPlane Elastique (not Soloïst) stretching engine.

It's not realtime but delivers the best quality on the market.

yeah, the more they don't say anything the funnier it gets. its like listening to someone talk and all the time there's something hanging out of their nose.

"fruity kryptonite" strikes again

Cabinfever would you be more precise , because the loop recording stuff as it has been describe seems to me like a gadget ,
can we use it for exemple During live act performance ?
