Logic: Can I add 3rd party MIDI Drum Grooves to library?

Hi!! I want to know if there's a way to drop-in a thousand or so 3rd party MIDI drum grooves into logic for easy audition and use. Thanks for any help.
Actually, I don't know where Logic's MIDI grooves are located. They are probably encrypted on my hard drive or something. I don't know.

In the current Logic version 10.4.3 there is the tagged and untagged loops route you can go.
That your 3rd party MIDI grooves get tagged real MIDI Apple Loops (with preview listen capability) there's a one by one conversion inside Logic needed.
That your 3rd party MIDI grooves show up at least in the loop browser as untagged loops (without preview listen capability) no conversion is needed.

You might come to the conclusion that learning to create you own grooves is less time consuming - for sure it will be more rewarding...tommyzai wrote: Tue Jan 08, 2019 8:44 am Thanks. I do need to find a way that isn't one-by-one. I have thousands of these grooves.

You're right, and I do create my own grooves. I use 3rd party grooves to develop and inspire song ideas. In the end, it's all me. What I'm looking for is to replace the groove browser/selector found in EZDrummer and Abbey Road 60s Drummer. Trying to keep it all in the workstation.Tj Shredder wrote: Tue Jan 08, 2019 12:48 pmYou might come to the conclusion that learning to create you own grooves is less time consuming - for sure it will be more rewarding...tommyzai wrote: Tue Jan 08, 2019 8:44 am Thanks. Does Logic have a MIDI groove browser and auditioner? If so, where is it, and how can I add to it? One-by-one is not an option. In that case, I could create my own faster.

I've already answered your question. You have 2 ways in current Logic 10.4.3:
1) Manual > Create your own Apple Loops (tagged ones)
2) Manual > Work with untagged loops

I appreciate your advice and help. I do. But, I'm not understanding how this sets up a browser situation for thousands of loops located on a folder on my hard drive. I could never convert these one-by-one. Please explain how the process works if you have time. I just want Logic to have a MIDI drum groove browser feature that can audition. I don't want to have to convert a zillion files to WAV/AIF/CAF or drag each one on a track.Etienne1973 wrote: Tue Jan 08, 2019 5:24 pm I've already answered your question. Holy Cannoli . . . my brain is spinning. I don't know if I'm sharp enough or have enough patience for this technique. I think the main problem is understanding "templates." I am very grateful for any help. Yet, I'm getting concerned Logic does not simple browse and audition MIDI drum grooves without a lot of steps, setting up, and work-arounds.

In the current Logic version 10.4.3 there is only one quick solution (untagged loops) without one by one conversion (to MIDI Apple Loops). But this untagged method provides no audition capability.tommyzai wrote: Tue Jan 08, 2019 6:54 pmI appreciate your advice and help. I do.
