It should also have resizeable GUI, or does it have that already?Benutzername wrote:What is really needed for the next big version is a quality upgrade with higher quality effects and modernized filters. The sampler needs some more modern features like articulations, wave table support and grain synthesis functions. The would also transform Redux from a good sampler to a real sound machine.
Is Renoise dead?

It doesn’t have UI scaling (other than three sizes for the text in the tracks), which is my only problem with it. It’s either blurry (using Windows scaling) or hard on my eyes at 1440p. Taktik mentioned that he’d started work on high-dpi scaling, but then the work on it got delayed. 1440p on a 27” display gives me a hard time.Numanoid wrote:It should also have resizeable GUI, or does it have that already?

I was using the Guru tool to control my Pocket Miku but that doesn't seem to work since the current version was released.gentleclockdivider wrote:A new bughas slipped in the latest up-date ;

Yes, you can use the signal follower to control a VST parameter.antic604 wrote:
You can route audio to send tracks, you can use Signal Follower on one track to trigger the compressor somewhere else, not sure if and how it works for VSTs.
In the follower select the track where the VST is, then you can select the parameter. Very easy.

Would be great to see Renoise go high resolution.Mivo wrote:Taktik mentioned that he’d started work on high-dpi scaling, but then the work on it got delayed. 1440p on a 27” display gives me a hard time.

Would be great to see everything go high PPI... So much software still isn't adapted to it.
As for Renoise... at this point, I'm more interested in them fixing my multiple instance Redux issue.

Oh man. So relieved to read this. Here's the post from Renoise developer Taktik:

I'm back on track and have some more time for Renoise right now. So a new update is in the works, but not yet around the corner.
