Good review. As usual your production quality and your tracks are pure awesomeness! The only critique I can give is that when you compare the full track without Ceil, you actually also bypass the reverb for the lead vocal.. and then it's enabled when Ceil is enabled as well. This makes the comparison quite a bit more tricky for the uninitiated listener. This is not a huge problem as the individual tracks you go through shows the potential of Ceil already very well.
Cheers!

Bumping this so no ones missies out.
You will find the eq tone on this and all AA plugins sound nothing like you may be used too unless of course you use hardware eqs!
Free until Feb 14th 2019

One way to look at it for boosting/cutting the mid range, select the high and low frequencies cut them together to get more midrange tone or vice/versa.

Well 2 high and low cut filters plus 2 shelves that have fixed frequencies to select because they're plugins actually use samples not algorithms and they're actually incredible.

Thank you for the review. D/L this and - as my first acustica try - am really excited. Have read a lot of conflicting opinions that are very ... strong ... about this company, but this thing sounds really good to me.

Classy move. Something to remember next time you are deciding what developer is going to get your money.
I think we are all in agreement that the plugins use a tremendous amount of resources, and most of the time they sound pretty good. Questions raised by many are whether they are worth the trouble, and some will questions the bold claims that this approach is superior to all others, perfectly replicating analog gear, etc. Not trying to start yet another thread, just adding for context.Have read a lot of conflicting opinions that are very ... strong ... about this company
Regardless, this promo was a good way to try the plugins. If you liked what you saw, or if you are reading at a time when Ceil is no longer free, consider Computer Music magazine as it comes with a Pink and Violet CM for free. Same situation: they sound good (according to Music Radar the full version of Pink will "blow you away"), and consume an inordinate amount of resources.
