Expansion Tank Titles

Hey! Ever since we've put up the whole Expansion Tank range on www.esoundz.com they've been picking up steam rapidly. Maybe it's the ads or I don't know what but they've been selling well. So, we should talk about them here in the forum. A lot of the AMG loop titles are very good if you like using loops (and ST2's loop sync feature sure is convenient). I've recognized some of your names on orders for various titles. Want to share some comments or questions about this cool new line of ST2 LE sound module plug-ins?
Go listen to the mp3 demos.

Actually, they're not all loop oriented. But, for people who DO use loops I think these are a great find. I don't even use loops much but I was having some fun with some of these AMG libraries. It has a certain authentic flavor of different styles. In fact, If I was composing for TV still or doing radio beds I'd be using the heck out of these things. That is one of the things that I find loops to be great for- music for TV, radio and games. When you've got tools like loop sync and pitch shift/time stretch as well as the ability to warp the loop into a dynamic instrument all inside ST2 it becomes a FAST way to make music, and to make it your own. For instance, you can just layer up a bunch of loops that are different BPMs and then hit loop sync so they all play together and see what happens. This is actually fun. You run into some polyrhythmic stuff you wouldn't ever think of.
It all depends on what style of music you're doing or what you're doing the music for I guess. But, they are selling hot on esoundz now. Maybe its because its new and esoundz members all over the world are digging in to the variety factor (there are over 20 titles shipping!!!!). Go check it out guys: www.esoundz.com
By the way, we are having a major update to esoundz.com in a week or so. Mannnnnnn it looks good. Rob is brilliant. The new version has more navigation features to find what you want in an elegant way and also there are some expanded products that will be available... some softsynths and maybe even a little hardware too.

I reckon you could sell ice to the eskimos Squids.
Such passion and fervour.
Who could not be affected by that?

Yeah, there is a connection between this forum and esoundz where this is the place to discuss what goes on there. I think there are a lot of esoundz members who are not KVR members (or are but don't post, mostly read so I am told). Since we've added Expansion Tank titles they've been picking up steam gradually. First one or two a day and then more and more. It is interesting seeing which ones people pick. Some pick the more ethnic stuff, some people pick the more hip hop oriented loops and some people go for the vintage stuff. But, I figured I would open up a line of discussion on them if anyone had any questions or wanted to comment if they had one.
