Just to update this thread which I've left below - I contacted the guy via the e-mail for the domain and got a reply that something was up with the hosting company. Just checked and seen the site is back up.

Anyone know what happened to Digital Pro Audio Samples? They sold the Emulator X3 and various add ons. I bought stuff from them end of last year but now the website seems to be gone?

The status changed just some days ago, maybe he didn't pay the bills from the hosting provider.
Googled on jmuziktronics, he stopped twittering about 18 months ago. The EBay store is closed as well.
