Hey Don, you did a great job with this review. Convinced me to upgrade from the first version, and I'm glad I did. Much improved from the first version, which, while great, was as you noted a complete drama queen -- every note was so expressive, it got to be a bit much. This version is more subdued and so more versatile. The granular phrases in this new version, by the way, are an awesome extra. Just playing with this, I'm using a simple 4-line mockup of the Canon in D, feeding one of those lines through one of the Tina 2 phrase sub-libraries, which, perhaps due to more than just happy accident, works really well when you set it to the proper scale -- kind of like Hendrix on a cello, unexpected as hell but works!
