hehe,, about 18 years ago,, my guitar teacher said I should bring a guitar solo that I could work on,, Holdsworths solo on Light of Day/Dead of night was it,, man I loved that song, wide eyed I was back then,, but could not put the practise in.

one fantastic guitar-player who is also most highly
underrated is Gary Chandler from Jadis.

Part of what he plays is so beautyful and out of this world - makes me want to cry sometimes  - I have to put up something :D

here you can hear him play a part of the aforementioned 'comfortably numb' live

i also love the solo on 'golden brown' by the stranglers...also the whole pink floyd stuff especially the solo on 'another brick in the wall'

the edge did a solo on a live recording of 'bullet the blue sky' that is OUT OF THIS WORLD..very hendrixy...(who i could also mention:-) ..but i cant find which concert it was from and i cant find it again:-(...any help maybe?
