I'm pleased to announce the release of Impact Soundworks first 2019 release: Plectra Series 5 Guzheng!

Continuing in the tradition of recording deep-sampled plucked instruments from around the world, this sample library features the ancient Chinese guzheng, played with fingers, picks, and bows. This combination of traditional & extended techniques yields a surprisingly versatile range of tones and articulations, great for both Chinese-inspired music and hybrid/fusion styles alike.

The library includes over 14,000 samples across 3 mic positions (top, bottom, room) and sports our very latest instrument tech and sleek UI.

The wide range of demos in our player below showcases the flexibility of this instrument, and I've personally enjoyed writing with it quite a bit. Learn more below:

Key Features
* Finger plucked & picked techniques
* Harmonics, multiple types of bends
* Up/down bows and crescendos
* Edge bows, staccatos, sponge picks
* TACT: Total Articulation Control Technology 2.0 for completely customizable mapping
* Console: Fully modular mic mixer & FX rack with 30+ modules
