I'm not sure OP is still with us here. But on the second thought, it may be considerable idea not to loop at all, just make the samples long enough. I mean it is used for stabs mostly, no? So it's unlikely anyone will hold a hyper-note for 10 minutes or so. Have 1 minute for random start point then 3 minutes for possible hold and release and that could do it. For possible audience, someone who wants the real thing, where 95% accurate software recreation is not good enough, any edits may be unwanted, including loops...

Indeed, it makes more sens as looping is really tricky to do properly + for authenticity sake it's always better to leave the sound as much "as is" as possible.Zombie Queen wrote: Fri Jan 18, 2019 4:51 pm I'm not sure OP is still with us here. TBH, I'm not sure how much sense it makes at all. The Hypersaw and Supersaw were recreated a dozen times in soft synths, and, i really think we're at a point where Spire, Sylenth1, or synths which specifically model the Hyper-/Supersaw, like Electra2 do a good enough job, without sampling and its disadvantages.

It' not completely pointless. For starters, not everybody have time and drive to deal with synths. Say you do sountracks and want a supersaw lick for a club scene, you will go and look out for soft-synths to install and learn, or just drop a set into Kontakt and have it handled in minutes?chk071 wrote: Thu Jan 24, 2019 12:24 pmTBH, I'm not sure how much sense it makes at all.
