That product link is in the first post in this topic.

I think it’s a very wise move by NI. I do however think that the product series name is plain stupid and more so for each new family member they release (even the product named «Komplete» offers nothing close to the complete NI software lineup).

Of course it is! :borg:

I'll probably get this in order to have Komplete Kontrol. That should permit me to easily pull together and browse all of the free NI sounds that I already have with the Kontakt and Reaktor Players. :tu:

It’s a free ticket to a slippery slope.
That is a slope that I have been avoiding for years. Hopefully it will remain in the rear view mirror after my new copy of SampleTank 4 arrives soon! :D

This is excellent! What a great resource for people to use and as far as Marketing goes this seems like a good idea to get people interested in jumping on the Komplete bandwagon.

Wow you sure get a lot for nothing. In the right creative hands, someone could do a lot with just this package alone.

For anyone who doesn't have N.I. stuff already - just wow. That's all free. :tu:

Yep. Really nice.

but is that free stuff really free, or do you have to install some plugin manager that connects to NI to use it.

ugh... don't worry, the plugin manager is free too.

The update for Komplete Kontrol 2.1 looks quite significant too, especially the ability to set it up properly with non-NI hardware.

even if it is free, if its required, not for me.. if i cant unzip it, drop a .DLL in my vst folder
and go, forget it.

I myself dont like those managers but Native Access is actually better then unziping and droping in a folder because its hasle free and doesnt require to do alot of clicking and its "smart". Really Native Access is one of few apps that make sense why managers exists so i wouldnt write that one off.

How often have we read this from you? 1000 times? Okay, understood. Repetition does not make this opinion convincing... Perhaps you change your reflex of throwing the same text modules into every thread you stumble into. Please!

Sooooo that package is simply the old players and instruments from those, put in to a single package instead of downloading 4 separate files.

Smart :tu:
