Hey Plex,
I meant an audio loop loaded into the sampler but I think I was getting ahead of myself & hoping for time stretching, maybe an idea for a module?

Hi Dan, yes A tempo syncing loop player would be lush! That’s what was I was getting at.cherryDan wrote: Fri Jan 25, 2019 7:02 pmAre you asking about the samplers? They don't have time stretching or any sense of tempo, they just play back samples at different pitches. A tempo-syncing loop player might make a nice module in the future.
If you're asking how to sync the drum sequencer to tempo, I can help you with that.
Dan
Time stretching/pitch shifting with real time sampling abilities would be amazing!

Can't you now simply host an existing tempo-syncing loop playing plugin? Or do I miss something?simmo75 wrote: Fri Jan 25, 2019 7:38 pm …

Good point! I was just thinking how great it would be if there was a sample player sort of like Dr Rex but, I already have Looperator, Hy-Slicer, Fraction, and maybe one or two others I forgot about. Hosting one of those would totally take care of that. Insta-Breakcore/Junglism!David wrote: Fri Jan 25, 2019 8:24 pmCan't you now simply host an existing tempo-syncing loop playing plugin? One thing that I'm worried about the auto-update thing is that the installer stubbornly wants to install the VST2 at "C:\Program Files\VST\Voltage Modular\" so I keep having to change to my "D:\Library\VSTs\x64\Cherry Audio\" on every installation.
The installer should remember my input on the last installation, IMHO.
Anyway, so, with auto-install, with no input from me, where is the VST going to be installed ?!
To check if this is actually working or not, I just installed 1.2.1 again (yes, I keep all the installers... beta testing habits).
Started 1.2.1, it immediately complained about not being able to update/use some of the modules because I was using a previous version and asked if I wanted to update:
Yes... Downloading... Asked again if I wanted to install after exiting... exited... install begins..
Ok, it's the same interactive install, not a silent one, so I'm at least able to correct the VST2 path (yet again).
In conclusion: Nothing of this behavior was seen previously, so... maybe the web query/reply (server side) wasn't ready at the time I tried (which was minutes after the announcement here).
Glad to see it working. Next time, I'll try to wait for it to work, after reading about a new update

I wanted to let you know that all future Windows installers for Voltage Modular will store your VST2 path in the Windows registry, so you'll only need to manually type your VST2 path in one more time.Koshdukai wrote: Fri Jan 25, 2019 11:14 pm Ok, it's the same interactive install, not a silent one, so I'm at least able to correct the VST2 path (yet again).

Looks like PSP has officially launched the new poly modules and NAMM bundle deal of $99 via this email I just got.
Dear users,
We are thrilled to announce the release of our new collection of 8 polyphonic modules for the Voltage Modular platform. This brings the number of PSP modules available for the Voltage Modular to 32 modules!
The Poly bundle consist of:
PSP PolyADSR - our classic ADSR generator;
PSP PolyAmp - a polyphonic voltage controlled amplifier;
PSP PolyBoing - this module reacts resonantly on the rising or falling edges of the triggering signal;
PSP PolyEnveloper - a multi stage envelope generator;
PSP PolyFilter - a fourth order ladder-type resonant filter;
PSP PolyFolder - a multi-stage (0 to 6) signal folder;
PSP PolyPatch - a polyphonic patch bay;
PSP PolyWobbler - a module that controls random analog instabilities.
You can buy these modules individually or in one of two bundles: PSP Poly Modular Collection for $69 or in the PSP Ultimate Modular Collection offered now for our special NAMM price of just $99 for all 32 modules!
To see the Voltage Modular in action visit our booth #19203 at the Winter NAMM show or download and run the new fully featured 7-day demo version from Cherry Audio download page. To use our modules you don’t need to buy any additional libraries, Voltage Modular will be automatically added to your account.
