I use Windows 7. I put the .rcUI files into the C:\Users\<user Iname>\AppData\Roaming\RapidComposer\Settings folder (there is no SettingsV2 folder)musicdevelopments wrote: ↑Wed Jan 28, 2015 9:49 am You can share your RapidComposer UI themes in this topic. It is a good idea to include a screenshot.
Usage:
- extract the .rcUI files into the RapidComposer Settings folder:
on Windows: C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\RapidComposer\SettingsV2
on OS X: ~/Documents/RapidComposer/SettingsV2- Click on the 'Settings' and 'Miscellaneous' tabs, and scroll to 'User Interface'/Theme in the list.
- Select 'Import' from the Theme menu, and open the .rcUI file that you wish to use.
I go to Settings Miscellaneous and there is NO such line as User Interface/Theme.
There is a separate Menu Iten next to Miscellaneous --> User Interface. I go to Theme and select Import and I don't see the files because it's looking for .rcTHEME files NOT .rcUI files. I changed to view all files, select one of the .rcUI files and it promptly crashed Rapid Composer.

I am sorry for the confusion. I'll update the first post to reflect the latest v3.x updates. It was posted in 2015...
The .rcUI files are not usable with the 3.x versions, only .rcTHEME files can be imported.
And the AppData folder is not used, all RC data live in the Documents/RapidComposerV3 folder both on Windows and macOS.
Thanks!

For any of you that are having trouble matching the Rapid Composer 0-255 Hue with the standard in Photoshop of 0-359 Hue, I found this link about converting between two scales of values.
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/929 ... ning-ratio.
RAPID COMPOSER HUE = (PHOTOSHOP HUE*255)/359
EXAMPLE:
So, if Photoshop Hue reads 320, the calculation to convert would be...
RAPID COMPOSER HUE = (320*255)/359
Rapid composer hue would be roughly = 227
So if Photoshop is giving you a Hue number of 320, you would enter 227 into Rapid Composer.
Saturation and Brightness are also an issue.
Photoshop is on a scale of 0-100% while Rapid Composer uses a scale of 0-255.
RAPID COMPOSER SATURATION OR BRIGHTNESS = (PHOTOSHOP SATURATION OR BRIGHTNESS*255)/100
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/929 ... ning-ratio.
Let's use it to convert between Photoshop Hue and Rapid Composer Hue. Simplifying the above we get:OldRange = (OldMax - OldMin)
NewRange = (NewMax - NewMin)
NewValue = (((OldValue - OldMin) * NewRange) / OldRange) + NewMin
RAPID COMPOSER HUE = (PHOTOSHOP HUE*255)/359
EXAMPLE:
So, if Photoshop Hue reads 320, the calculation to convert would be...
RAPID COMPOSER HUE = (320*255)/359
Rapid composer hue would be roughly = 227

Hmmmm it is still not working correctly. Might be something I am missing. I will delete the above, if we can't get it sorted out.

Managed to get it pretty close. Here is a new theme called: Soft Mineral Blue 2019.
