List of DAW's that have a step sequencing style similar to the Roland SH-101?

I'm looking for a list Windows 10 DAW's that will do step sequencing just like the Roland SH-101, where you punch/enter in your notes on the keyboard, then it plays it back disregarding any type of timing, rests...etc...each time you enter a note, the sequencer advances once for you.

I think the only ones I've tried out that do this are Renoise (a tracker) and I think Reaper will do it, I'll have to try it out as I'm still evaluating it. I'd like it already implemented without any configuration, if possible.

Eyeball exchanging
Soul calibrating ..frequencies

Cubase and Cakewalk too.

I think they all do stepped input don't they? Reaper and Waveform both do it.

I have Waveform 8 OEM (haven't read any of the manual yet) but it didn't act that way for me...looks like I'm wrong, select step from the midi editor. 8)

Ableton doesn't, you have to hit a key combo to make it advance. I'm sure there is a Max For Live patch that could do this but I don't have M4L. Renoise does it very well.

Studio One supports step record.
Take a single oscillator, producing a drone. Send it to the wave shaper, altering the tone.
This can be a triangle, Sawtooth or a square. Modulate the pulse width, nobody will care

Logic Pro X does is it as well.

Wow, it looks like Ableton is the odd one here. There's plenty of DAW's that do this. It's my favorite way to get a sequence down...happy accidents. I'll have to look into the one's mention. (I forgot to add that I'm on Windows 10)

You have to press the right arrow key to advance...it screws me up too easily. ..and I like punch in the notes with two hands a lot of times.

which is a shame, because there are nice ones like CONCHORD

Back when I still used Live I had my foot pedal do that...

I liked how Live did it because you could quickly make longer steps, chords with one of the notes longer, empty steps, go backwards and redo steps...

If you are looking for a DAW, a program with more typical DAW features, Radium is probably a better alternative than Renoise for doing step sequencing. http://users.notam02.no/~kjetism/radium/
