First try with chord selector

Hi folks. I'm using the chord selector for the first time. I have a few questions:
1) How can make the default sound preview something other than 4 notes? For example, I'd like to hear, by default, a single note one bar long when auditioning chords in the chord selector.
2) Once I create a chord progression using the chord selector, how can I drag it into the composition? I hit the "drag" button but cannot find a suitable drop target. When I'm looking at the composition window that shows the chord progression in the master track, I cannot seem to open the chord selector. When I'm in the phrase editor, I can open the chord editor, but don't know how to apply the chord progression.
3) If the chord progression created in the chord selector is longer or shorter than the current composition--what happens?
4) Once I have the chord progression in the master track, how do I create a regular track with the exact chords I previewed when building the chord progression in the chord selector?
Thank you,
-d.vyd

Hi d.vyd,
yes, the video is strongly recommended
Click on the Options menu under 'Chord List', 'Scale Degrees' or 'Palette' and make sure you have the following settings (except for Color):

You can drag the 'Drag' button and drop it on the master track. For more details please see this page:
http://www.musicdevelopments.com/wiki/d ... raganddrop
If the chords have no length assigned in the progression, they will be stretched to the line where you are dropping them. With specific lengths, lengths are respected, and if the composition is shorter than the progression, the last chords are omitted.
You can edit the voicing if you'd like when you have the chords on the master track. Just click on the small [V] button below the Master Track label. Chords are dropped as 'root position'. If chord preview is not root position, some higher notes are dropped by an octave to sound better. You can do the same when editing voicing.
Thanks,
Attila
