Better Than The Original?

Hey, y'all. Do you have example(s) of original version of a song and a cover version of it, not necessarily in that order. Which one do you prefer?

Most of the time, the original version is better... but not always? I's subjective, of course.

Here's one, Cat Power's cover, that to me, is better than the original Oasis version.




On the other hand, although Cat Power does really great covers, her cover is not better than Rihanna's original version.



Lastly, in this subject's opinion, pretty much all the live versions in The Song Remains The Same is better than the original versions (assuming that not all Led Zeppelin songs are plagiarized), except maybe Whole Lotta Love.
