I have made a really distorted sound using post effects and serum for the base sound. However when I render it as WAV and MP3 it removes the distortion almost like it's limiting it. I am mastering with Izotope Ozone 5 and maybe that has a limiter that isn't toggle-able? If anyone has this problem or has a fix let me know.

EDIT/UPDATE: It IS NOT any of the plugins I used on the master. I disabled ozone 5 and made no difference. I have a fruity mulitband compressor on it to boost the sound maybe that's it?

In Serum´s Global Page there is a setting:

"Silence effect tails when host transport stops"

This has to be deactivated for rendering properly in FL Studio...

Check in rendering settings if you havent enabled option "disable inserts"...

Other wise update FL Studio because vs12.2 is few year old now, couple days ago v 20.1.2 came out.

Thank you the update fixed my issue. And what was going on wasn't disabling the effects... But more like rendering it limited because of clipping. It would render it and sound like terrible distortion compared to the playback. If anybody else has this issue do indeed update to v20. :)
