I saw this last night. So is this a new and updated version of Diva or has it just been tweaked so it shows up in Kompete/maschine as VST?

Very nicely done!! Did you use the stock factory presets that came with this synth or did you roll your own?nachenko wrote: Tue Feb 05, 2019 10:51 amUnpolished, but it happened.EvilDragon wrote: Tue Feb 05, 2019 10:13 am You know the rules of the Internet: post track or it didn't happen.![]()

No it isn't, but Repro-5 which is part of Repro and Pro-53 are both emulations of the Prophet 5.. made by different companies and very different quality of emulationzeep wrote: Tue Feb 05, 2019 12:59 pm Wait, so Repro is Pro-53 ?? Just got the email from NI today. Seems i'm late to this party.

It's a Prophet 5 and Pro-One. Way better than Pro-53.zeep wrote: Tue Feb 05, 2019 12:59 pm Wait, so Repro is Pro-53 ?? Just got the email from NI today. Seems i'm late to this party.

A couple of questions for the knowledgeable.
1) Given DIVA's mix and match flexibility would owning Repro significantly increase the available sonic pallet?
2) What does Repro offer over Arturia's Prophet V3, other than superior sound quality (U He walk on water - Arturia suck etc etc.)

Not meant contemptuous, but... a quick demo would answer those questions.
I'm not a fan of hypes, or this vs. that, or pointlessly bashing on companies, but, for me, a Arturia synth vs. a u-he synth is no match. U-he's synths are much better in analog modelling. If you're between Diva and RePro, it probably makes sense to make up your mind about what you want - a close emulation of one particular synth, or sort of a synth construction kit, where you can put different components together. For me, Diva is the more complete synth, but, horses for courses.

Halfway down is a chapter "Tell us a little bit about your Prophet emulator, Repro." which I think is what captures the difference between the two.

Did you mention that NI turned you down for a job and thus became u-he?Urs wrote: Tue Feb 05, 2019 1:22 pmCheck out this interview:SHall1000 wrote: Tue Feb 05, 2019 1:13 pm1) Given DIVA's mix and match flexibility would owning Repro significantly increase the available sonic pallet?

No offense taken @chk071. I am demoing at the moment and there is something about the U-He sound but I can't help thinking I should be able to tweak other synths (Prophet v3 particularly) to acheive something similiar. We are all about tweaking and processing sound - right?
Re Diva v Repro I am wondering if there is something in Repro which means it should be able to do things Diva can't? I am not an expert synth architecture.
Cheers

Is there any way of upgrading to the U-he Collection bundle as I own Colour Copy, Repro and Presswerk? I have asked Native Instruments and they referred me to ask the question to U-he! So, is there any upgrade path I can follow?
