I got the MM from Hans Zimmer for 1$ and the promise never to emulate it. He hates its sound and I'll honor the promise.

While there is *no* official announcement of Diva 2 (I only ever said it won't happen anytime soon, i.e. probably not before 2021), I'll happily add sone missing stuff there (polyphonic Mini) rather than make anything Memorymoog-ish.

Unpolished, but it happened.

surreal wrote: Tue Feb 05, 2019 12:56 pm Very nicely done!! Did you use the stock factory presets that came with this synth or did you roll your own?
Thanks, surreal. I used just two presets, HS Space Morning for Repro 5 and the bootup preset for Sonic Academy ANA 2. The remaining stuff is custom made. Long story short: Bass stuff = Repro. Mid/high stuff = ANA 2. Chiptune = Audiothing Minibit.
Cool stuff!! Ana2 is definitely the next synth I would like to buy!

I have Diva, which is great and has a pretty wide sound palette, but every time I demo Repro, I don't get the same feeling. All the demos are even pretty similar sounding in terms of the type of sonic palette they use. Very synth wave / 80s stuff, which is great if that's your thing. Just sounds "old school" to me for a lack of a better term.

What you might be hearing is the result of complexity in the product: Diva has a number of elements modelled in the spirit of a number of different component from specific makes and models. Repro is either a Prohphet 5 or Pro-one. Those two synths have a specific and farily simple design from a synth architecture perspective. Sounds made on either will have "the sound" of that synth as part of it's DNA. This was the case for all these kinds of hardware synths. Each model has a unique sound but all it's sound will with share a similar character.

Diva has a lot more to choose from and breaks away from the simpler architecture of the SCI synth in Repro. This is one reason it sounds more complex and diverse. :phones:

How long should it take for my serial number email to come through after registering? Been waiting 12 hours now...

What if you get a MM that didn't belong to Hans and emulate THAT one?

Or I guess it doesn't matter... Richard from Synapse is going to make one in plugin form, anyways, eventually. :hyper:

wagtunes wrote: Mon Feb 04, 2019 10:28 pm I didn't do the math but is it worth it to get the bundle for the FX even though I already have Diva and Repro? Probably not.
Yep, you still save (PW+Satin+Twangs+Coco -> 400$) and you can resell your existing Repro + Diva easily if you had them for 9+ months. Better sell them after this sale though.
Got Diva this morning, but I'd really like to get just CoCo and TwangS. Wish there was a smaller FX bundle with just those two :)

About 2 minutes.

But apparently our servers did end up on spam lists, probably due to the sudden peak in traffic. Please send an email to support at u-he dot com, maybe enclose an alternative email address.

Urs, I'm sure this has been asked before, so, sorry for repeating: any chances to get FX versions of these?

You mean audio input for Diva/Repro? - There's a chance, it's on our never-shrinking to-do list, but it doesn't seem to ever make it to a top spot. That's likely because there's a pretty time consuming infrastructure project required for it - which we need for another product. Once that's done, chances go up.

Thanks Urs. Have sent an email as above just now, but I don't think it is an email problem. I've gone onto the web site this morning and requested all my serial numbers, and received the email which lists Zebra and Repro (which I already had) but no mention of Diva (which I bought yesterday).

Anyway, as I said have now emailed your support.

Urs bought Hans Zimmers hardware MemoryMoog for $1?

Am I understanding that correctly?

"It's not scary. You just lose a sense of who you are and all that sh!t"
