One thing I will keep after watching that youtube video from the U-He HQ is when Urs is mentioning the use of graphics cards in the future as processing power to run plug-ins. With intel having thunderbolt3 on the chip in the next cpu gen people are raving about being able to use egpu (external graphics cards) much easier and faster. Is this what the future holds Urs? Running Diva 2 or 3 or JuPeter

in such setups?

General-purpose GPU usage still has problems with added latency. So methinks it's not going to have its limelight in DSP-oriented processing loads.

But possibly during rendering. The DAW would have to support it though I guess.

Anyway I would even be happy if I could render on all cores of my cpu at all the times with 100% utilization, but somehow I'm using it wrongly or the DAW limits the parallel /ahead processing. The plugin developer can't improve here unfortunately that's dependent on the DAW.
