The way I see this is that it's totally beneficial to both U-HE and Native Instruments. U-HE taps in to the N.I customer base and vice versa, win win situation. This is good business for both developers so Bravo!

NI couldn't afford you, Urs. Ftr: I'd definitely take your freedom over a big check & a gilded cage any day - most would. My analogy was purely about Camel Audio whom I miss to this day - really good people. But there's no way that they can talk publically about what happened, and why - that was the point.

Ok, back to topic: is it possible that Hive could come up as a 1/2 price sale item on NI's site at some point in the future?

I really don't know. They won't do such an deal with a single synth, and I wouldn't want to do the same deal + Hive again, and I also wouldn't want to put Hive together in some deal with competing products. So maybe rather not.

i dont really understand the whole nks thing, by which i mean what makes one synth nks compatible while another isn't?
i dont need full technical data, just "it's a code thing" or "it's just someone has mapped it to the nks devices" basic
