Just imagine, you could have saved so much time by writing "NO U".AnX wrote: Thu Feb 14, 2019 4:14 pm well, the beatles split up and two died, the stones are still going, so a bit difficult to compare them today. If you want to point out your own foolishness, it's entirely up to you.

I like Zep but find the singers voice can get a bit annoying after a while.

i think so far, of all the bands mentioned within the thread, id probably have to go with pink floyd as being the one i listen to most, and can even repeatedly play an album.
the others i like songs, can even do a whole album. but id never just press play on the cd player again.
also, i only have the others on cd album.
pink floyd i also have a fair bit of vinyl and singles.

that's how it's actually pronounced.Gamma-UT wrote: Thu Feb 14, 2019 4:28 pm Did you know "vurt" said backwards sounds a bit like "luapdelliki" if you really slow it down and pass it through a vocoder and splice in some other sounds. Spooky, eh?
the v is silent.

Both are equally good on their own merits.
Sadly, I don't actively listen to either.

This statement really bothers me since I'm not hearing the Beatles influence in Led Zeppelin's music. It's possible I have bad ears.
Blasphemous as it may be, it is this guy's "da da da daaa" influence that I hear in most of Jimmy Page's riffs.
