ok, ill go with shove.
shove it where you store information but ignore it and just get on with it.
no point worrying about what we cannot change.

did you think i was gonna say "shove it up your ass"?
unless thast where you keep information, wouldn't be much use as information...
obviously, if you use your ass as a filing system, that's your business, but as most people don't, id never assume anyone did

I don't even know why I made that comment. I'm used to pre-defense maybe. It's my scrabble playing style. it doesn't relate translate too well in forums. Speaking of scrabble, I gotta go. Okay bye, y'all.

First saw Beatles on Ed Sullivan in 64. Zep didn't come until many years later. Whereas I like many Beatles songs, there are only a few Zep songs I really like.
Stairway To Heaven (though I am sick to death of it)
Rain Song
Kashmir
Over The Hills And Far Away
Immigrant Song
Whole Lotta Love (Only because I love playing the drums to it)
And that's about it. Everything else I can take or leave.
As far as overall popularity, there's no contest there either. The Beatles were an infinitely more popular band, though popularity doesn't always equate to greatness. But Lennon/McCartney were one of the greatest songwriting teams of all time. Led Zep, not so much.
So for me, it's no contest.
YMMV.

My beard only grows in the goatee stylee (with a few stragglers elsewhere). I put it down to the Johnny Foreigner influx in East Lancashire/West Yorkshire in the 19th century.vurt wrote: Fri Feb 15, 2019 6:15 pm

Last few years of trauma of post-family deaths and my best friend's death has left my beard grey to snowy white. Think I'll shave it this summer. It puts 10 years on me.

The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.
