This looks pretty cool, if nothing else as a creative tool to generate some ideas. Will be checkingout the demo tonight!

unfortunately my 10 days demo expired this weekend to test the new features. I should have waited...

Definitely would like to hear more news about this one.
Really feels like a good and stable product but the ai mapping is a bit messy, distorted kiks and long toms going into "others", claps into "closed hihats" etcetera...

Rather than manually moving samples in the maps maybe just a manual change of category would help, letting the ai decide where they must go in the selected category.

I wouldn't waste time on a sequencer, too many options to make everybody happy.

Anyway congrats, I'm having fun with absurdly large maps

edit: Also, an option to not resave samples in Atlas kits folder would be nice.

The messiness of the mapping doesn't bother me terribly, but improved "AI" certainly couldn't hurt. Being able to do some kind of supervised classification (e.g. manually changing the category and/or defining all new categories for some subset of samples, then rebuilding the map) would be a really neat feature. I don't know if it would make the map cleaner necessarily, but hopefully it would make it more tailored to the user's needs for a particular sample set.

One thing I really wish Atlas could do is search/filter the map by file name. When assembling a kit, I'll often know that there is a specific sample somewhere in the map that I know the name of and want to use. Unfortunately, finding it entails panning around and sifting through dozens of samples before either A) finally stumbling upon it or B) giving up and just dragging it into the kit from Explorer. A search feature would also be really handy to thin out a big map and just show anything with "606" (or whatever) in the path/file name.

I'll be interested to see what comes in 1.5! I get the impression that a sequencer is probably in there, as they've been teasing that for a while now, but perhaps there are also other improvements.

Yeah, the ai is far from unusable, but it also can hide your sounds in the wrong category never to be found again...
Thinking at the perfect cowbell, waiting for you in the hihat category, all alone and scared

And yes, name-based search/filter would be very helpful!
