"In the comment section of this video, someone asks if the Prophet 5 is "going to be a thing". Behringer than replies "absolutely".

The comment's on YouTube don't confirm anything other than they are planning to open a synth museum

Most of the Synth's they purchased are in the UK so I 'm guessing it will be based in either Manchester or Kidderminster

BEHRINGER: We are just repairing this legendary piece for our synthesizer museum.

BEHRINGER: Absolutely!

Now, it would make a lot of sense for Behringer to make a Prophet 5 clone, but considering Dave Smith/Sequential are still active, there might be some kind of legal or business conflicts (as there have been in the past) which prevent Behringer from going down that direction. It's a shame, because we all want an affordable clone. The next best thing is a Sequential Prophet 6.
