I am hoping someone knows something about the Yamaha KX 49. It is still a keyboard that is supported by software? Can one use the DAW features with other software besides Cubase? What about the arpeggiator functions, would they all be functional without any software I might find on the DVD, which I do not have.
Here is the manual.
There are also some files available for it online, like the drivers and a KX_RemoteTools, which I do not know what the "remote" part refers to.
Is a Yamaha KX 49 still a good keyboard?

Looks like a good MIDI controller, since its a MIDI standard would be a question to map the inputs to your DAW features.
