Hi

I currently have my system running on an M.2 SSD and have a seperate 850EVO which I am planning on using for audio applications/plugins and sample libraries.

e.g
Drive 1 - System
Drive 2 - DAW, Plugins, Samples
Drive 3 - Music Projects
Drive 4 - Documents, Downloads, Media etc

Is there any advantages or disadvantages of doing this ?

Thanks

System/user data separation is an advantage in case of a OS reinstall/upgrade or main disk failure.

There is no particular performance gain doing this with SSD. For the same reasons I don't see any significant performance loss with it.
