Hi!
I have some serious trouble with getin any soung from CoolSoft VirtualMidiSynth under Waveform 8. I configured midi output per manual, installed FluidR3 GM sound bank under VirtualMidiSynth.
CoolSoft VMS is playing sound from midi player (vanBasco Karaoke), but not from Waveform8, there is only indication on this green bar, but no sound from speakers. When I tried sound bank from Collective plugin in works.
Is this right combination or am I doing something wrong. I am newbie in this.

Just a guess,
try to change your Audio Output setting in Waveform 8, e.g. from ASIO to something else.
or
use a Soundfont sample player plugin in Waveform 8 like BassMidi VSTi.

It actually worked! I changed Audio Device Type from Windows Audio (exclusive mode) to Windows Audio and now I can hear the sound.
Another problem though, I cannot change instrument (grand piano sound only), when I choose another instument there is popup: The program change cannot be sent, since no midi chanel is selected.
Tried to add midi channel in audio devices, but there is no possibility for that.
