And pay 4.000 for something of minor cheesy quality and limited functionality?

Waves, most likely. They do that all of the time.
This might be their (subtle) way of negating second hand sales, I think. Just a theory......a method to that madness.

Like a virgin was like the end... it sucks when you long for songs like Borderline.
It was Waves. I just don't understand what the person who bought it the day before is supposed to do... Drink it off?
I can't support this nonsense anymore. This stuff has no physical value. You can play so many games with people. It's honestly nauseating.
Right now I really need a new amp sim but hey nothing is on sale so I have a fear to pull the trigger on anything. Here I sit with no music getting done wondering how the next software developer is going to screw me.

That’s likely to be PA or Waves, what’s even more amazing is that if you are a regular subscriber to PAs mail shots is they give you another $25, so in actual fact, I paid $4 for a $200 plugin the other day..... Nice...
It just goes to show, don’t fall for the hype wait until the arse end of the year when no one else is buying anything and you can often pick up a bargain, but has that not always been the case with everything. Besides it gives people starting out the opportunity to own some nice kit without spending a fortune or resorting to Warez. All you need is a bit of patience, regular checking and a small but ready source of cash. I'm good with that but can sence others frustration.

Ahh, I remember when I was young and naive about software companies and their sales strategies. Takes me back to 2009 or thereabouts, when I bought Miroslav 1, my first 3rd party software purchase.

Thanks for being insulting. I guess I just posted because I see this sort of thing get more and more extreme through the years... I think it is some sort of character flaw of the executives to operate a company like that. Obviously some developers agree and avoid doing sales...chk071 wrote: Mon Feb 25, 2019 5:43 pm "Software has no physical value." Wow. The insight of the millenium.
Ever heard of that stuff called freeware?

I am not all that naive. I have probably made more money here than any other seller in the marketplace since my original membership in 2002.Bombadil wrote: Mon Feb 25, 2019 5:52 pm Ahh, I remember when I was young and naive about software companies and their sales strategies. Yes, there are 1 or 2. The most serve the market. Which means they are doing sales. Sales are not stupid. Not in the least. They're smart. Anything else is stupid.SAW75 wrote: Mon Feb 25, 2019 6:05 pmThanks for being insulting. I guess I just posted because I see this sort of thing get more and more extreme through the years...
