Extremely sad to hear of his passing. One of the really great songwriters not only of the eighties, he created timeless music. His legacy will live on and memories of all the great times I shared with friends listening and rocking out to ‘Talk Talk’ wishing we were that talented will stay with me.
I was incredibly lucky to see them live in Hamburg and it was one of the best concerts I ever attended.
All strength to his family and friends... a truly sad day.

R.I.P Mark
Talk Talk was amazing! I really liked them when they had their first hits in the 80s. eg with "such a shame".
Does somebody know if Mark had to fight with some illness? As far as I know, he left the music business some times ago.

"Sadly it's true," Keith Aspden said. "Mark has died after a short illness from which he never recovered."
