Hi All,
My name is Tim Roberts, and I'm currently undertaking a PhD in Digital Signal Processing, focusing on Time-Scale Modification of Audio. As part of this I am undertaking a large amount of subjective testing of time-scaled audio, which will help inform future development of TSM algorithms.
If you would be interested in helping out, the audio is broken into approximately 18 minute sets, with participants able to complete as few or as many sets as they choose. Testing involves playback of a time-scaled audio file, moving a slider to the desired quality level and pressing next. You are also able to playback the original file, should that be required.
EDIT: Removed Unix versions. Use the web testing in the post before.
The Windows version is the easiest as it is a stand alone application that automatically sends the test results back to me. It does require the installation of a runtime library, but this is described in the readme.

As a thank-you for participating, I have a beta version of standalone effect available for download.
I will be presenting the research behind the effect at ICSPCS'18 in the middle of December, so this is a sneak peak of sorts.

Let me know if you try the effect. Technically, it could be realtime with 10 bands, but the algorithm allows for many many bands (1024 is the max recommended for 44.1kHz), which is definitely not currently realtime applicable.

P.S. Admins, feel free to move this if it isn't in the right section.

Hi All,
A quick update. I've now updated the testing to use a web interface and reduced the length of each test set to approximately 10 minutes. The new testing can be found at www.timrobertssound.com.au/TSM/index.html (http://www.timrobertssound.com.au/TSM/index.html). The above audio effect is still available.
