Yes, given that they're always careful to tell you what everyone paid and where you are in the queue, it feels very different from being behind a hundred people that also paid hundreds of dollars.

This is a dumb thread. It's all just social media marketing. How is the way audio software companies operate any different than that of how sports retail companies operate??

I get spammed every other day for 50% off clearance sales of Nike and Adidas sports shoes every other day by sports check. At least when you login to audio software companies you don't wind up not being able to buy anything because they don't have any sizes left and the only sizes they do have are of the butt ugly models that no one in their right mind would be caught dead wearing in public.

Speaking of early Madonna and the Holiday era. I was around back then when she was just a nobody with her 1st record. No one thought that bitch would be around for another record. We all thought Cindy Lauper was gonna emerge as the superstar... How wrong we were.

i never buy anything from a company offering sale above 50% : Waves or Izotope for example.

Then my favorite company for pricing policy are Xfer and Vahalla : right price, no sales, outstanding products.

I can deals with company offering 50% very often, if their product are really good, Native Instrument or Melda, but it is a pain because i can only buy plugins on black friday or summer..

I was very surprised to see lots of geezers break dancing successfully.
