I’v been trying to figure out the opening chord progression of this song all week, the furthest i’v gotten is that it’s in cmin and he opening chord is most likely gmin. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Try writing out the individual notes first. What do you hear, lowest middle & highest notes? What intervals?

Also it's not C or G, another 10 left to try.

It is in C minor. I'll give you a couple of the chords: first thing is a Cm then with an add2 (D); it goes to iv, Fm, then there is a V7b9. G7 with an Ab.
Later there is the Cm add2 or Cm9 and a chromatic slide up a semitone and back.

You may want to somehow get a grasp of jazz sort of chords for this.

Photosounder Spiral shows that chords contain these notes:
fgc
fgg#
bd#
cdg

Though I'm an ass so you might wanna check by yourself.

I gave real whole chords, the ? was chord progression. "B D#" Is going to be part of CmM7 or G7b13.

C minor is a flats key BTW. C Eb B; G F B Eb.

I didn't do a lot of work on it. Look for 7ths and 9ths on some rather basic harmonies of C minor.
F C G Ab is Fm add2

(I call it add2 when the 2 is up against the m3, and particularly with no 7th. It's not really different than Fm9.)
