A Psaltered Zither ChoirPool

Post

I've just seen it in the KVR news. I had a chance to tinker with this in the production stage and it's one good sounding zither with some creative space. Don't pass it by in the crowd of noises.

I do want this, it sounds great, but its a little bit expensive for a 'just because I want it' purchase. I seem to have missed some Modwheel releases, that huge banjo thing sounds great too. Unfortunately Pendle (SoundDust) just brought out something new, which had already eated into the toy fund. Swithering....

ChoirPOOL? Funny you mentioned it, as it's another one I had a tiny tinker with the script. I think I might missed the release news, that's fun instrument too, though completely different beast.
Talking missed Modwheel gems, I'd point to "Strained Wire", I don't think anyone else sampled something like this. Reminds me Jon Rose, Great Fences of Australia project...

Yeah, I think the ChoirPool email was last weekend?

I think Strained Wire was the first one of Modwheel's I bought. I vaguely remember Detunized or someone like that doing some samples in that territory, but bare samples, not a Kontakt library.
