Hi,

I am in the progress of converting an old Magix music maker project into Tracktion 7 to get cross OS compatibility.

Here's the issue:
I have recorded some guitars and bass clips in Magix against a drum track at 90 BPM. When I drag and drop the Wav's into Tracktion 7, it states that the clips are 120 BPM. They play correctly at this tempo (pitch and duration).

When I then add drum tracks in Tracktion at 120 BPM it is running too fast (should be 90 BPM!). If I change the BPM for the project to 90 BPM, the clips slow down and does not match the original production any longer.

I am sure I recorded the original Wav clips at 90 BPM, but I cannot import them at this tempo in Tracktion for some reason. How can I solve this?

Thanks on forehand.

Try changing the BPM of the project to 90bpm BEFORE you drag the loops in, then if you want it at 120, change the project bpm then after the clips are in.

Thanks for the advice. I tried it but unfortunately the clips are adjusted to 90 BPM as they are dragged into the tracks and are therefore made to go too slow. Is there some setting to prevent Tracktion from doing any adjustments to the Wav?
