Yeah the tracktion and fl things are here: https://github.com/surge-synthesizer/surge/issues/512
Unfortunately I think the only answer will be "detect those hosts and disable zoom". They just aren't responding to the VST2 resizeWindow message like other hosts. If you have other plugins which do resize properly in those hosts please drop it on the issue.
The tab thing is easy enough sure. I find it handy enough in logic but we can easily make it a user option; or disable it in FL if I can detect the host identify easily enough. The best workflow is "open an issue and we will close it in an upcoming beta" or if you want "code up the fix" (which in this case is just removing the tab key). The tab key caused us other problems too so I'm not that attached and don't think anyone else is either.

I get no gui in energyXT 3. I know @Layzer uses energyxt so must be something on my end. 32bit version btw.

Great. Beta 7 which ships tomorrow will fix a couple of very big missing features in the VST3 (like: respond to midi events other than note on/off!) which should I think make it a usable equivalent of the VST2 finally.

Yeah energyXT doesn't show the 1.6 gui. https://github.com/surge-synthesizer/surge/issues/190Halonmusic wrote: ↑Wed Mar 13, 2019 4:31 pm I get no gui in energyXT 3. I know @Layzer uses energyxt so must be something on my end. 32bit version btw.
I can reproduce it but have no idea how to debug it. Any contributions welcome to be honest!

Hi Folks.
We released 1.6.0-beta-7 this morning. This release continues to fix bugs and problems. Definitely recommend you upgrade to beta-7 if you are running any other version of 1.6.
As always you can download the synth here:
https://surge-synthesizer.github.io
and the change log is here:
https://surge-synthesizer.github.io/man ... eslog.html
There are a couple of larger problems we are still working on before 1.6.0; some users have reported pops and crackles in the synth, especially on linux but occasionally on other platforms, but it isn't consistent, and there's a few things we want to change in the zoom/draw path still. And there's a suite of small items. All on the GitHub https://github.com/surge-synthesizer/surge/issues
As always: The best way to report issues is to open a GitHub ticket with your OS, Host, and Surge Version and as clear a description as possible.
And finally, one of the primary surge OSS devs (namely: me!) is going to be away for a couple of weeks so our capacity to address things will drop a bit. But we have a clear plan to 1.6.0 now.
Enjoy!
