Don't know if this has already been suggested but it's kind of obvious that you need to buy more gear. Lot's of it.

This word 'inspiration' seems to be problematic. I don't really know what it is which isn't present at any given time, but I suppose it's like that for me for several reasons: 1) it seems to be elusive because it's supposed to be so special, confer 'divine inspiration'; 2) as though there is supposed to come ex nihilo as opposed to the product of work, ie., the work itself is the creative act and where ideas germinate. I thought I had a 3) but it evaporated forming the first two.
But when it's 2) the product of constant work and attention to and a nurturing of the means to create, 1) may be revealed as a kind of hoax.

Ok, in addition, people can suck it all out of you. It may be that you need that more than you need to create music. I don't, I actually have to be alone, I have issues. I have, however alienated a partner with the basic 'Not now, I'm working.' one or three too many times, which was addressed quite well above I think.

Yes, it's available, it's like an invisible stream of radiowaves in the air. Just pull out your antennas and you'll receive inspiration.

I need to have a clear mind first though... when I'm too tired, it's not working. I'm always too tired btw...

Sometimes I don't really care if I am inspired or not (assuming that inspiration means composing or improvising something new), as I can always just sit down and play something, anything. I really don't care if I'm just noodling or even making odd sounds that make me feel happy.

Today would be a good example, as I spent about 30 minutes trying to iron out some of the wrinkles in my embouchure for trumpet - I'm really not good at some note transitions as there's a corresponding embouchure change with a fingering change, and I feel satisfied on a day like today when it seems that I've improved my playing in some small way by the time I put the instrument down.
Sweet child in time...

Still illegal in Finland so costs too much. Though I bought CBD oil which seems to help me focus a bit. Also noticed that a track I've been working for few months in tiny snippets it total crap so I deleted it... Continued with next track that has some real potential, when I have time to it :hyper:
